Toshi K. Okada, BMOS, CIM
As Associate Principal, Partner Solutions, Toshi is responsible for the growth and development of Westcourt’s Investment Partners. In his role, Toshi leverages his expertise to enhance client engagement and foster robust partnerships. He is registered as a Dealing Representative.
Prior to his tenure at Westcourt, Toshi served as an Analyst on the Investment Strategy team at one of Canada’s largest wealth management firms. In this capacity, he collaborated closely with the VP of Investment Strategy and the firm’s Investment Committee and played a key role in overseeing the firm’s investment product offerings, with a focus on alternative (private) investment strategies. Toshi was instrumental in identifying strategic opportunities for high-net-worth clients and led the revamp and expansion of the firm’s alternative mutual fund offerings. Toshi advised the firm’s investment advisors on the roles that these strategies can play within in client portfolios. Additionally, Toshi was responsible for performing capital market and macroeconomic analyses, producing data-driven research publications for the firm’s investment advisors and its clients.
Toshi earned a Bachelor in Management and Organizational Studies (BMOS) degree, Specialization in Accounting, from the University of Western Ontario. He has completed the CFA Level I and is a CFA Level II Candidate. He has also completed the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) from the Canadian Securities Institute. He holds the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designation.
Toshi also has a passion for participating in charitable events and is an avid golfer, hockey player, and traveller.
