Tony Ong, BCom

As Data Analyst, Tony supports the Westcourt team on client performance reporting and the development of Westcourt’s database and reporting software. He also collaborates with the Operations Team in the development, implementation, and improvement of processes across the various business units at Westcourt.

Prior to joining Westcourt, Tony worked as a Junior Economist in the Economic Analysis Division of a government department. In this role, Tony conducted forest sector intelligence gathering and compiled reports analyzing data from the Canadian Census to provide a foundation for evidence-based policy. Tony’s past experience also includes working at a national Canadian law firm as a Collections Administrative Clerk in the Client Operations & Risk Management department. Tony was responsible for handling the remittance of payments, reporting, and the automation of the reporting process.

Tony earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the Ted Rogers School of Management at Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University) with a major in Economics and a minor in Finance and Psychology. He also holds Google’s Data Analytics Certificate.
