Shaheen Bhimani, BCom

As Finance Manager, Shaheen’s role includes supporting the controller functions, including maintaining accounting procedures and internal financial controls, preparing the financials and dealing with audit requirements.

Shaheen brings over 18 years of experience in finance to Westcourt. Her previous roles include working as a Senior Financial Analyst for the Commercial Businesses at a major Toronto-based hospital system. These responsibilities included the preparation of financial statements, variance analysis reporting, leading audits with a leading accounting firm, budgeting, and presenting dashboard financial reports to operational directors for each business. She was also responsible for tax filing for all entities and process implementation. Shaheen’s experience also includes working with medical supplier and leading such projects as transitioning the accounting system from QuickBooks to SAP. In addition, Shaheen also worked for a pharmaceuticals company in London, UK as a Senior Accountant where she dealt with banks regarding factoring sales and being a SME for finance portfolios.

Shaheen earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Mumbai. She is currently pursuing her Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation.
