Jimmy Wen, MSc, CFA

As Senior Associate, Research and Analytics, Jimmy is responsible for supporting the evaluation, due diligence, and ongoing monitoring of Westcourt’s investment products. His role includes conducting market research, building analytical models, and assisting in the preparation of investment materials across both traditional and alternative asset classes.

Prior to joining Westcourt, Jimmy worked in equity research at a Toronto-based family office and trading firm, where he focused on deep fundamental analysis of publicly traded companies and multi-asset strategies across North America and emerging markets. He also gained experience in corporate strategy and data analytics at one of Canada’s leading commercial printing companies, where he developed analytical tools and machine learning models to support strategic decision-making across a 500-employee organization.

Jimmy earned a Master of Science in Business Analytics from Ivey Business School and a Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours) in Accounting and Finance from Saint Louis University in the United States.  He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) Charterholder. He is fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese, and has a strong interest in value investing. Outside of work, Jimmy enjoys playing tennis, snowboarding in the mountains, and traveling the world to explore different cultures.
