Ilya Kudzelka, CFA

As Principal & Portfolio Manager, Research & Analytics, Ilya works closely with the Research & Analytics team on the screening, evaluation, due diligence and ongoing monitoring of Westcourt’s investment products. He is responsible for conducting a thorough analysis of the investment performance of alternative investment funds, explaining performance results, investigating performance discrepancies and bringing issues to a resolution. Ilya is registered as a Portfolio Manager (Advising Representative).

Before joining Westcourt, Ilya was a Manager on the Private Equity team at well-known fund administrator. As part of his role, he was responsible for overseeing the fund accounting team that evaluated private equity and private debt funds, managing client relationships and supervising internal and external financial reporting. Ilya also optimized a number of financial reporting processes and improved service level agreement completion times.

Ilya earned a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree, specializing in Financial Services Management, from Seneca College and a Master of Finance degree from the Rotman School of Management. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) Charterholder.
