Geoff Gerrits, CIM

As Senior Associate, Asset Management & Client Services, Geoff supports Westcourt’s Portfolio Managers in constructing, managing, and monitoring diversified investment portfolios. He also assists the Portfolio Managers in the preparation of investment presentations and client proposals, and with ongoing client service. Geoff is registered as a Dealing Representative.

Prior to joining Westcourt, Geoff was an Investment Analyst on the Institutional Products and Marketing team at a leading investment management company. He was responsible for providing investment analysis and management of Canadian Equity solutions for institutional investors. He also aided the CIO, portfolio managers, and the firm’s various Institutional teams by providing attribution analysis and competitive and industry research. Furthermore, he was the lead ESG analyst for the Institutional Products and Marketing team. Geoff started his career as an analyst at a Toronto based start-up trading firm with a focus on event-driven strategies.

Geoff earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Dalhousie University, with a major in Economics. He also holds the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designation.
