Suri Luo

Suri is currently a 4th year student attending the University of Waterloo in Math and Finance, focusing on Financial Analysis and Risk Management. As a co-op student, Suri supports the research team in the ongoing monitoring and diligence of alternative investment funds, including analysing performance results, investigating performance discrepancies and bringing issues to resolution.

Before joining Westcourt, Suri interned as an Equity Research Analyst at GF Securities, where she conducted fundamental analysis on public equities by assessing the companies’ industry positioning, financial metrics, business models, and competitive advantages. While at GF Securities, she also assisted in building the research database for sales forecasting and company comparable analysis. Prior to that, Suri was an Financial Analyst intern at Deloitte Canada. In this role, she worked with both the technical and the business teams on the digital transformation of financial statements.
